My Secret Pal Came Through

THIS arrived in the mail on Friday. Wow! Totally unexpected, and most appreciated.



And when I opened it, this is what I saw. Isn't that beautiful?!

The magazine contains a pattern just for the eyelash yarn. There are candles, and incense, tea, earrings and a matching charm, a beautiful glass pin to hold a shawl closed, 2 magazine, the bag, a knitting pattern calendar, wristlets, and a beautiful postcard. She included knitting things, and then wonderful apres-knitting/holidays relaxation things. There was so much stuff, I'm sure I left things out, but isn't that something???

Thank you so much, Secret Pal! Everything is beautiful, and just in time for Christmas!

Oh Wow!!

I don't have time to post the pictures today, since I'm running to catch a train, but boy! oh boy! did my Secret Pal do me good! A ton of beautiful, wonderful things. All wrapped up in special Christmas paper, and enough knitting/and apres-knitting relaxing stuff to keep me going for a loooooooong time.

Mohair Bias Knit Scarf

For a change, a post with a little knitting content. This is the beautiful mohair from my secret pal, and the bias-stitch scarf I am attempting. Yes, it IS supposed to look like that!! And you should feel it, it's so soft. The color is actually a deeper purple than the color shown here. It's really a beautiful yarn.

Not Just Tacky, but X-rated

I can't even find the words to describe this, or the mind that came up with the idea!

Christmas Car

Boy, I really, really, really like this car. I don't know that it needed to be strung with Christmas lights, but it IS a totally cool car.

And what does it say about me that I actually LIKE this Santa? I think he's rather jaunty and debonair!

Seriously. Don't you want to know the story behind this? I imagine it would start, "Hey, remember that night? Yeah, you know, that night that we..." Good times.
