Let's Talk About Stash...

Heh heh, I said stash. Will I ever grow up enough that I don't do that every time I say stash? Probably not. Okay, I have a warped sense of humor.

It started, not so much as thinking about the rather large stash that I have, but about the projects I'd like to do. And I came to the realization that I have a LOT of projects I want to make. Which means, naturally, that I have a LOT of yarn to make those projects.

Remember the Malabrigo? Yeah, I've got the Malabrigo. In two colors. And probably not enough of either color to make anything substantial, like a sweater. But more than enough for a scarf or two. Sadly, I'm kind of over scarves. For now.

And the Manos del Uruguay? I have to finish the edging on the cape. And I have enough of the green for the Irish Hiking Scarf. Or two.

And Schaefer Esperanza, yep I've got a few skeins of that. That's a nice yarn.

Oh, and remember the Plymouth Baby Alpaca Grande? I do have enough of that for a sweater, and Kate A. had recommended the Banff . And of course there's always S&B's Big Sack.

And there was the Trendsetter's Scoubidu. I've got eight skeins of that. I found a tank pattern from Summer 2006 Knitter’s magazine I think I'll try, but of course I want to turn it into something with sleeves.



















Six or eight skeins of the Cashmere Aran in navy blue. I had originally gotten that to make the hat and scarf for my uncle, but I wasn't feeling the love, so it'll have to become something else.

Four skeins of Nashua Wooly Stripe in the cognac colorway. And four skeins of Nashua Wooly Stripe in the Ocean Colorway. I haven't decided what they will become.

The Red Cross sock kit, which will, of course, become socks someday.

And remember that sock yarn from my SP10, that is dying to become the Monkey Socks from Knitty?

So, no more yarn for me until some of these projects are complete. She said, sternly, to herself.
